QA Engineer / Test Automation Engineer

QA Engineer / Test Automation Engineer We are looking for a QA Engineer with a strong background in software testing and test automation for a long-term consulting assignment in Malmö. You will join an experienced development team where quality is an integral part of the software development process. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building automated test solutions, improving testing processes, and working closely with developers to deliver reliable software. Your responsibilities Design, develop and maintain automated test frameworks and test cases. Execute manual and automated functional, regression and integration tests. Validate APIs, backend services and system integrations. Analyze test results, report defects and work closely with developers to resolve issues. Contribute to test strategies and continuously improve quality assurance processes. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement and retrospectives. Support the team in delivering high-quality software releases. Required qualifications At least 10 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance. Strong experience with test automation. Experience with one or more automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress or Selenium. Experience testing REST APIs using tools such as Postman or REST Assured. Experience working with CI/CD pipelines. Good understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices. Experience working in Agile development teams. Excellent communication skills in English. Preferred qualifications Experience with performance or load testing. Experience testing mobile applications (iOS and/or Android). Experience with security testing. Knowledge of SQL and database testing. Experience working with Azure or AWS. Assignment details Start: ASAP Duration: 12 months with the possibility of extension Location: Malmö, Sweden On-site: 5 days per week. No remote work.
