About Taigatech We are solving some of the most important problems for the industry, with AI and computer vision. With our connection to academia and the latest research, we take world-leading research in AI and computer vision and turn it into solutions that help the wood industry increase yield, availability, and productivity. With the new technology reshaping how the industry works. We believe the forest and wood products have an important role to play in a sustainable future, and that AI is how the industry gets there. We're a growing team in a cozy office in central Gothenburg, working closely with some of the leading names in wood working. There's no better time to join our journey than now. About the role Are you a driven and structured leader who thrives on keeping complex projects moving, building strong customer relationships, and getting the best out of the people around you? As Technical Project Manager you take over from sales and carry the project through to a successful delivery. You are the customer's main point of contact throughout the project — building trust, keeping them informed, and guiding them through the decisions that keep the delivery on track. You translate their needs into a technical description for the delivery, set and maintain the timeline, and keep every stakeholder aligned, from the customer to automation engineers and the team. You are the person who makes sure the project stays on schedule, the communication keeps flowing in both directions, and the right questions get asked at the right time. This is a role for someone who is comfortable leading customer dialogue, pushing decisions forward, challenging assumptions when needed, and holding many balls in the air without dropping any. Responsibilities Act as the customer's main point of contact from project start to handover Build and maintain strong customer relationships, keeping communication clear and flowing in both directions Scoping the project and architecting technical description based on the customer needs Set, maintain, and update project timelines Support the customer with system design and decisions Book and lead meetings with the customer and the automation engineers to keep the project on schedule Time/cost reporting and document the project accurately throughout Drives the project forward by keeping people accountable, asking the right questions, and pushing decisions when it matters — even when that means a difficult conversation. What we are looking for (requirements) Social and confident in customer dialogue, comfortable being the customer's main point of contact Strong leadership skills — comfortable driving decisions and challenging when needed A degree in engineering, or equivalent experience Previous experience in project management or as a team lead Accurate, methodical, and structured, with the ability to document correctly and keep timelines and time/cost reporting up to date Analytical, with the ability to interpret data Driven and self-starting, used to juggling many parallel tasks Fluent in Swedish and English Open to travelling Meriting Comfortable with Python and data analysis tools Curious and quality oriented, with a desire to understand and solve the underlying problem Interest in or experience with machines and production Experience with machine control systems Employment Scope: Full-time, permanent Start date: As soon as possible — applications are reviewed on a rolling basis Location: Göteborg, Office first but with some flexibility
