Wire Harness Engineer

Your roleIn this role, you will work with design and development of wiring harness systems for automotive applications, from concept through to release. You are involved in routing, packaging and validation of solutions, and work closely with colleagues, suppliers and other stakeholders to deliver robust and manufacturable designs. You will design wiring harnesses for different vehicle areas, develop related components and work with 3D routing and packaging in CAD. The role also includes ensuring that your designs meet technical requirements and standards, as well as supporting validation, implementation and continuous improvements throughout the project. You are innovative and like to collaborate with others. To succeed in this role, you likely have an engineering degree within electrical engineering, mechatronics or similar, and experience working with wiring harness design in the automotive industry. You are used to working in CAD tools such as CATIA V5 or Creo, and have experience with wiring design tools and PLM systems. You have a good understanding of vehicle installation and packaging, and you are comfortable taking ownership of your work and driving tasks forward independently. You are fluent in both, Swedish and English. Experience from global automotive projects, working with suppliers, or familiarity with common industry processes and systems is considered an advantage.
