Role Summary As an Environmental Specialist, you will combine your knowledge of chemicals with strong communication and coordination skills to support Scania's environmental work. You will ensure that chemical information is accurate, up to date and compliant, while making environmental information accessible and relevant for colleagues across the organisation. Working closely with internal stakeholders, you will manage chemical information, support users, coordinate environmental initiatives and contribute to the continuous development of our processes and ways of working. You will also play an important role in communicating environmental information through our internal channels, helping colleagues find and understand the information they need. Please note that this role is temporary and is expected to remain in place until 31/08/2027 Job Responsibilities Manage, maintain and continuously improve Scania's chemical register, ensuring that information is accurate, complete and up to date. Support users of the chemical register through guidance, access management and issue resolution. Coordinate and follow up on chemical-related activities together with internal stakeholders, including Procurement and production units. Contribute to the development of environmental processes, documentation and working methods within Group Environment. Create, coordinate and publish environmental information on intranet, ensuring content is relevant, user-focused and up to date. Coordinate activities within the global Environment & Chemicals network, including meeting planning, distribution lists and network communication. Participate in projects and improvement initiatives related to environmental compliance, reporting and sustainability. Who You Are To succeed in this role, you have a genuine interest in chemistry and environmental issues, together with experience of administrative work where accuracy and structure are essential. You are comfortable managing information, keeping track of details and ensuring that data is reliable and up to date. You also enjoy communicating and presenting information in a way that is clear, relevant and easy to understand for different audiences. Whether you are maintaining chemical information, publishing content or supporting colleagues, you understand the value of high-quality information and good collaboration. As a person, you are proactive, well organised and enjoy taking ownership of your work. You are equally comfortable working independently and collaborating with colleagues across different functions. To be successful in this role, you also have: Knowledge of chemistry, preferably through education or relevant work experience. Experience of administration, coordination or information management. Experience of internal communication or content publishing is an advantage. Good digital skills and confidence using Microsoft 365 and web-based tools. Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English, spoken and written.
