On behalf of a municipality on the Helgeland coast in Northern Norway, we are seeking a family medicine specialist to join a well-established primary care centre. About the position
You will become part of an organised and collaborative healthcare environment with experienced GPs, resident doctors, and other healthcare professionals working closely together. The medical centre is co-located with other municipal health services, providing efficient collaboration and short decision-making processes.
Your responsibilities will include:
General practice consultations and patient list responsibility
Diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of patients of all ages
Preventive healthcare and chronic disease management
Participation in out-of-hours emergency services on a rotational basis
Collaboration with municipal healthcare services and specialist care providers

Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who:
Are specialists in family medicine / general practice (GP)
Hold a valid medical licence and specialist recognition from an EU/EEA country
Have good English language skills
Are motivated to learn Norwegian
Have good communication and collaboration skills
